Health Tip: Teach Kids About Portion Control (HealthDay)

(HealthDay News) -- Whopping assets sizes are a bounteous think for why grouping overeat. But if you teach your children most appropriate portion sizes, they haw be more likely to follow to healthy portions into adulthood.
The Nemours Foundation offers these suggestions:
- Put meals on smaller plates so that the assets appears larger.
- Divide snacks into small portions, instead of sending your child off to eat with the full bag.
- Separate leftovers into small assets sizes, instead of storing them in large containers.
- Serve food away from the table, which haw bounds kinsfolk members from going back for seconds.
- Produce single-serving foods to help your children alter what an appropriate bringing is.
- Eat meals slowly, and make trusty they include plenty of fruits and vegetables.
- Split orders at a restaurant.
- Skip the plus-sized continuance meals at fast-food eateries.
