Severe Eczema Linked to Lasting Milk, Egg Allergy in Kids (HealthDay)

SATURDAY, March 19 (HealthDay News) -- Children with more severe cases of the wound condition known as eruption are less probable than others to outgrow their concentrate or foodstuff allergy, the results of a newborn think suggest.
Unlike youngster or seafood allergies, children often grow allergies to egg and milk, according to a team of researchers from Duke University Medical Center, artist histrion University School of Medicine, Mount desert School of Medicine, National Jewish Health Center, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the University of Arkansas Medical School.
The think included more than 500 children, aged 3 months to 15 months, with foodstuff or concentrate allergy. They were assessed for eruption and categorized as "none-mild" or "moderate-severe." Eczema, also often called atopic dermatitis, commonly takes the form of swollen, irritated, itchy skin.
During digit eld of follow-up, concentrate allergy was outgrown by 46 proportionality of children with none-mild eruption at enrollment, compared with 25 proportionality of those with moderate-severe eczema, the investigators found.
The think also institute that 39 proportionality of children with none-mild eruption outgrew their foodstuff allergy, compared with 21 proportionality of those with moderate-severe eczema.
