TV on the Radio bassist has lung cancer (AP)

NEW YORK – TV on the Radio bassist Gerard adventurer has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The assemble made the announcement on its website Tuesday. The assemble says adventurer is in communication and won't be able to tie its tour, which begins in Austin, Texas, at South by Southwest on Thursday.
But the assemble noted that he has health insurance, enthusiastic medical tending and has already seen "dramatic results." TV on the Radio says that with Smith's "legendarily voluntary effort ... it might just be cancer that has the problem."
The critically acclaimed rock assemble just finished its stylish album, "Nine Types of Light," which is discover April 12.
