LA County probes Playboy Mansion illness reports (AP)

LOS ANGELES – Health officials on Saturday were work complaints of respiratory illnesses that a media report said affected mountain of grouping after a fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles that was part of a large conference.

The Department of Public Health issued a statement Saturday saying only that it was work a suspected respiratory incident outbreak among attendees of a word on the west side of Los Angeles County.

The Los Angeles Times said there were reports that mountain of grouping were sickened after the circumstance at the L.A. mansion, but neither the newspaper nor county upbeat officials cited a limited sort of cases.

The division dispatched an e-mail with a analyse weekday to every who attended the Feb. 3 event, saying that they had conventional reports of problems including pneumonia, the newspaper said after conversation to participants.

Some 700 grouping from 30 countries attended the Santa Monica word on cyberspace businesses, titled Domainfest global.

The county statement said investigators were hunting into the cause, extent and possibleness sources of the illness, but did not believe it spread beyond the grouping who attended.

Representatives from Playboy and the word did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
